Balls and Medialytes

Examine this post-relay, and consider the manner of postings.

"That responsibility should go along with freedom, and that Great freedom required Great responsibility, should be so obvious. as to sound trite. But it isn't trite, and, I dare say, isn't lived up to in the United States.

What with Enron and WorldCom type scandals, the compulsive addiction to reporting on money and the rich in the business and news broadcasts, one would actually think that the United States bows down to the God or Goddess of money.

But where is the responsibility of the freedom that the United States constantly talks about? Is it in the military/industrial complex? Is it on Wall Street? Is it on K-Street? Show me the responsibility, then I will show you a United States that is loved around the globe.

Having a nation of freedom Without the responsibility, I will show you a morally and ethically sick nation, and a country teeming with addicts trying to climb the money ladder, no matter the morality or ethics that are discarded along the way."

"America bad, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah."

Actually, your comment is a good object lesson regarding the 'Can America be Introspective' topic...

Actually, what the nations of the world need is the sacrament of reconciliation...but that is so humble an act as to be beyond most modern relativist folk.

Chris, I love your posts, you genuinely care about the wellbeing of this nation and of all people.

Cut the sarcasm. Grow a pair and talk like it. I like you. Your back is covered. Don't bother to hide behind humor. Say what you're going to say. Any post you put out there, I will respond to it with thoughtful incision if you request.

You don't need to appeal to folks who are not awake.

If you honestly want to promote American truth and freedom, then do so in an article. But this article would be better without any 'shoulds' and with a lot more 'Freedom *is* American, freedom is right.'

Freedom is American. Freedom is right.

You have my peace-loving support.

You know what you are, peace loving world. Let it Be.

Autointeraction with

I am pleased that you allowed users 2 minutes instead of just 1 to edit their own comments.

But I'd like to be able to comment much more rapidly on the topics I dig. I get this annoying message every time calling my commentary spam when I am just hitting on all cylinders. I forgive you.

But I go through this site like AP.

I like to help edit and focus the news, and I do this with commentary and pushing up or down stories. I can see a story, understand it, and move on in less than a few minutes. But often I hit some kind of ceiling on where they won't let me comment further. This is why I have time to write this blog about you.

Change the comment rate. I don't want spam either, and if you uncap it robots will take over. So instead have them type in a bitbar, or give commentaries a spam delay rating if they are rated down hard. But do not prevent people from posting early and often. That is un1st. And the way you do it is particularly poorly chosen.

Change this quickly and your stock will rise. Do nothing, and I will leave you eventually.

Spirit State

Anti-religious media productions are highly inappropriate. An ungodly media will not be listened to and those who own and promote such programming will be judged by the Lord.

John McCain upholds prisoners' rights

Congratulations to John McCain. He's gone up a notch for upholding the rights of prisoners.

Fox is owned by National News Network. NPR is also funded largely by Republican efforts. Quite a shame. Where do we get news from now? The world, each other, the net.

Public Media and Organization

I am way pleased to see that things like and are being distributed and housed by medialytes everywhere. These sources are a great way for the public to dispense, share and judge information.

They have a natural edge over televised and radio media, with the onset of internet sound and video, especially free sound and video, of a user-determinable content counter to television.

These technologies, along with the entirely monitored social networking sites, allow civilians to organize and share information faster and easier, continually, and at the touch of a button. They can also immediately and easily interact with news organizations and their state. This media must be more effectively used to help people become more in touch with one another.

It is only a matter of time before international internet events occur on a professional and democratic level. Amnesty International, the ABA, ACLU, the ICRC, these orgs should not only have sites, they should have CHAT ROOMS in which people around the world can organize and trade information. They already have reasonably interactive and educational media. I want ICRC chats, forums, action centers, and organization projects, and links to help with free donations and other action potentials.

The UN definately needs one of these. Email correspondance is just not cutting it anymore.

In a similar note, a poster at displayed about a year and a half ago the notion of home Hollywood websites and webservers, where people would film their own videos and mix their own music and produce it personally. Since that time, has arrived and its copies. We are still awaiting a division of the internet designed for semi-pro awarded pieces. I would like this to be a professionalizing, a maturation of internet production. We should see the youtube be joined by professional publication organizations, clearly independent of major organizations, providing the software required to produce fine music and movies, private and public documentaries.

I am also moved that The Leader Of Iran has taken to blogging and that they have recently announced that suicide bombing is wrong and hurts Islam. I am very pleased at this civility and choice to honor God with peace. I also challenge the American president to the debate with the Iranian president. I would personally debate either of them on television any day of the week.

That should be on the internet. They should debate live on the internet. I want internet news TV with breaking news. I don't care much if it's local internet news, but I want reporters on there in reasonably funky suits talking about something that I am interested in at every hour of the day or night. I demand it. I want forums beneath the movies. I want it to be times the news. It will be fantastic and can be for anything, not just news. I want religious speeches by pastors, historical speeches. I want MLK's speeches online. I want Kennedy and Eisenhower there. I want the 1992 presidential debates on this thing. Make it happen.

For September 11

I have enjoyed hearing the stories and positive and open minds that the families of victims of 9/11 have on the radio. But when officials call for 9/11 justice, I do not think of Osama or any prince or sheik. I think of the 9/11 truth movement.

I want 9/11 truth. I want justice. I think that is what will be best for the nation and for the world.
