Balls and Medialytes

Examine this post-relay, and consider the manner of postings.

"That responsibility should go along with freedom, and that Great freedom required Great responsibility, should be so obvious. as to sound trite. But it isn't trite, and, I dare say, isn't lived up to in the United States.

What with Enron and WorldCom type scandals, the compulsive addiction to reporting on money and the rich in the business and news broadcasts, one would actually think that the United States bows down to the God or Goddess of money.

But where is the responsibility of the freedom that the United States constantly talks about? Is it in the military/industrial complex? Is it on Wall Street? Is it on K-Street? Show me the responsibility, then I will show you a United States that is loved around the globe.

Having a nation of freedom Without the responsibility, I will show you a morally and ethically sick nation, and a country teeming with addicts trying to climb the money ladder, no matter the morality or ethics that are discarded along the way."

"America bad, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah."

Actually, your comment is a good object lesson regarding the 'Can America be Introspective' topic...

Actually, what the nations of the world need is the sacrament of reconciliation...but that is so humble an act as to be beyond most modern relativist folk.

Chris, I love your posts, you genuinely care about the wellbeing of this nation and of all people.

Cut the sarcasm. Grow a pair and talk like it. I like you. Your back is covered. Don't bother to hide behind humor. Say what you're going to say. Any post you put out there, I will respond to it with thoughtful incision if you request.

You don't need to appeal to folks who are not awake.

If you honestly want to promote American truth and freedom, then do so in an article. But this article would be better without any 'shoulds' and with a lot more 'Freedom *is* American, freedom is right.'

Freedom is American. Freedom is right.

You have my peace-loving support.
