Subject: Our Own Media
Body: Yes, I'm pretty sure that this kind of thing, along with CIA recruiting and selected underclassing occurs through these social networks. State departments work closely with many businesses and media groups.
The official response of youth everywhere is not really caring, and continuing about their standard information gathering and dispensation as usual.
This makes our information networks somewhat weak to propaganda and false flag information, but it is very efficient overall and is libertarian enough to be able to handle static, while being community enough to withstand many fringes.
Furthermore we also function as our own fully tiered and overstaffed volunteer media and information source, complete with talk shows and tireless journalists and community activists and information spreading teams. Our own media should plow all data.

"More than half of Americans say US news organizations are politically biased, inaccurate, and don't care about the people they report on, a poll published Thursday showed.
And poll respondents who use the Internet as their main source of news -- roughly one quarter of all Americans -- were even harsher with their criticism, the poll conducted by the Pew Research Center said. "
